I am running for town council because our town is at a crossroads, and strong leadership is needed to guide Warrenton into its coming chapters. With your support, I will address the following crucial issues our town is facing:
Affordability
a. The town is facing a deficit. The only solution that the current council has proposed as a solution is to raise your taxes. This is not the only viable option, and should be viewed as a last resort. We can be smart on growth while maintaining the character of our small town. We can incentivize affordability so that living in the town limits is not viewed as an exclusive, financially out of reach prospect.
Transparency
a. I am a prosecutor by trade. Ethics and transparency are the most important parts of my job, and will continue to be as your representative in town council. Our residents deserve to know exactly what goes into decisions made by your representatives, and I will make it my mission to ensure that every resident is well informed as to what goes into council’s decisions.
